Shaikh A. HalimExecutive DirectorMasters in Social Welfare from University of Dhaka in 1972 and since 1977 he has been working as Executive Director of Village Education Resource Center. He has many fold of social and professional involvement - member, Nation Committee on Education for All by the year 2000; Founding member, Approtech Asia; Executive committee member of NGO Forum for Water and Sanitation in Bangladesh, etc. He has a good number of national and international publications. |

Yakub HossainDeputy Executive Director, VREC &Convenor - Freshwater Action Network South Asia-Bangladesh Graduate from WEDC-UK in 1990 and working as Deputy Executive Director of VERC since 1978 & as convenor of FANSA-BD since 2007. Apart from this, he has all sorts of involvement in all organizational matters and linked with Water-Sanitation section. The world famous Community Led Total Sanitation (CLTS) Approach is innovated in February 2000 by this organization. As a WatSan practitioner, he was directly involved with this process with the other team members. |
